LifeMap Supports Local Girls, Inc. Chapter

UPDATE:  This year’s event was a huge success and raised over $350,000 for local Girls, Inc. programs! Thank you to everyone who participated in the event and to those who support strong, bold, smart girls everywhere.

We are honored to support the Pacific Northwest Girls, Inc. chapter and their 10th annual, Power of the Purse. On March 6, guests at this distinguished event will have the opportunity to meet many of the girls who have been impacted by Girls, Inc. programs. In addition, they can support future programs by bidding on one-of-a-kind handbages created by local designers who have partnered with notable leaders and a Girls, Inc. girl.

LifeMap's president and CEO Beth Andersen is one of this year's Purse-o-nalities. Beth has the privilege to mentor Litea of this year's Girls Council. Together, they worked with Ahmed Abidine of elkarti Morocco to create the Heritage Berber Tote, hand-embossed with geometrical Moroccan architecture symbols. This beautiful purse (pictured below), along with 14 others, have been filled with goodies, date nights, and pamper treatments for the event's auction on March 6 at the Portland Hilton.

Girls, Inc. inspires girls, ages 6-18, to be strong, smart, and bold. Their programs are designed to empower girls with the skills, tools, and self-confidence they need to become leaders in their communities, learn to use their voices for change, and to grow into economically independent women. Join the #PowerofHer movement for girls everywhere.
